Looking for enthusiastic artists! - Please read.

Hello. First of all I want to thank you for at least looking at the thread. I've tried in a lot of places and most people just skim over my post.

Now, on to business. A friend of mine has started a game card production group, a group that focuses on the making of custom playing cards. Their eventual goal is to get through to the official producers of the game and get some of their cards published. But why can't we have fun on our way to the top?

Here's the deal: we all have fun idea's, and good concepts, but no one in our group has the skills needed to draw the images for the cards. And that's where you come in.

We need some enthusiastic artists to draw the card graphics. Some cards may come with tweaks, but most of the time you can decide how to draw it for yourself.

If you're interested in trying, here's the group site: YGOTF home
and here's a list of made cards in desperate need of images: ROM-(N.I.)

Thanks for reading, and I hope you'll join us soon.

This thread's better suited for the employment section of the forum.

Since no mention was made of money, I've moved this to the appropriate section.

I'm sorry if I sound like a complete asshole when I ask this, but:

Isn't there anyone on this forum who just likes to draw without the need for money in return? Isn't the satisfaction of creating art enough?

And yes, I know there are people here who make a living with their art. I'm not directing this at them. I respect them for being able to make a living by doing something they love.

But aren't there any people here who draw in their spare time? Or just draw for the sake of it?

Cause I just read the sticky about the "FAQ" thing in this category, and you can see some pretty damn rude stuff in there.

Again, this is not an attack at anyone. Just wondering.

Yes, that's why this section exists in the first place. Although you have to understand, if people are creating art for nothing but their own satisfaction, they most likely want to work on their own projects, not somebody else's.

    Sorry for the late reply.

You can check out a list of cards with images needed on this page:
    http://ygot.freeforums.org/rise-of-t...es-n-i-t3.html
There are no restrictions. Use your imagination!

More are coming soon. I'll update this thread as soon as they're uploaded.

    Thanks for wanting to help,
    Fergioux.

    PS.:
    - For those too lazy to click the link, I'll post some card names here so you can start right away:
Wrought-Iron Golem, Mechanoid Millipede, Piston Spider, Goblin Mechanic, Bionic Arms, Particle Blaster...
    - And some cards not in the Rise of the Machines list:
Insect Armor, Plated Wyrm, Bloodlust Soldier, Skeletal Dragon Rider, Nirvana...
