Some good stuff in here. I like your watercolors and the A3 sketch page in ballpoint.

Great stuff knoxie... Your latest stuff is incredible...

I find it reassuring to take a look at your page one.

ok, I'll be honest. I spent a lot of time on page one. I like page one.

kidult: Hey dude! Thanks... i'm not sure it counts as work when it's so much fun.

Traveler: thanks man, I still get the best sketch results with a ball point... I guess it makes me think about my lines without the possibility of erasing.

bitcloud: thank you. I looove page one. I look back every now and then to remind me of where I started.

    some jacket studies.

thanks magic man!.... slow and steady.... slow and steady.

Hey Harryzed. You should totally come to the sketch group, it's a very chilled out gathering, usually 4 or 5 of us weekly.

So here is the latest scribble.... I've GOT to stop with these glows... they look cheap and nasty in my opinion. So back to studies of actual buildings and I'll be back soon with progress.

Nice Sargent dude! Your skin tones looks a little more saturated compared to his version, but you've got the colour and light down perfect!

hey prsnsweeny! thanks so much, oh man is Sargent the man!

cgaddict! Thanks man! I wouldn't mind getting looser and just implying the detail. But I'll learn what I need to put in just so I can learn what I don't need.

Nice studies, really like the A3, tons of different figures there with some kick ass poses. Really like the portrait pieces to, your values in that study are very well done.

Oooo.... enviro studies are looking great! Actually, all the studies are looking great! I like the idea of the last illustration, but I think she could be a little better integrated into her bg. Maybe bounce some of the bg colours onto her dress?

thanks knarf! I need to explore imaginative scenes more... studies are good.. but not what impresses clients.

thanks cg addict! trying to get everything done at once. line, value, colour, composition....

Cheers Nicky Beats! I'm surprised as anyone seeing how they turned out.

Hey Pixie Trick. I think I agree with you with that last comment. I wanted to keep it flat and cut out almost, but I think a bit of blue would have added a lot to the depth.

Here's another sketch playing with composition and colours... which I need plenty more practice with.
