So much happens so fast, these updates become small bookmarks of the passing time, I'm overdue to share some new work,
as artists we are very fortunate to live in a time with so many creative opportunities to explore,
Markos SixMoreVodka Made workshop is right around the corner, there are less than 100 spots left so if you are on the fence i would secure your position today, this will be a one of a kind event. Marko will be building off the conceptart model with his German precision, you will not want to miss out on the "BMW" of art workshops.
and if Berlin is too far to travel TAD still had over 1.5 million dollars of scholarships to give away, imagine how many pencils that 1.5 million dollars can buy,
on my end i have several events I'm participating in and you can check out my facebook page to keep abreast of the ongoing activities.
now onto the art.
i recently had a close friend of mine make a deliberate decision to end her journey here on earth, words fail me to try and explain all of the emotions that it created , If anyone had seen the fine art volume one DVD you can see the first time that i made a portrait of Breanna,
here is the last portrait i will draw of her. she ended her life with a dramatic final statement and i wanted this portrait to reflect that.
on a different note, this was created for my friends at leewiart for their "share one planet" competition , http://www.shareoneplanet.org/en/index.aspx
this was the poster that they sent out for their call to entries, each animal in the headdress represents the top endangered animals in china,
we are currently working an creating a sculpted 3d bust of this image
here is the live painting i created at the Austin "Visions" event . the first print will be auctioned off for Daarkens beautiful grim fundraiser,
Beautiful Grim
the prints is an 18x24 wet mounted watercolor giclee with acrylic hand embellishments.
and for anyone that's planning their summer adventures i would like to you invite you to the BOOM FESTIVAL in Portugal.
This year boom has enlisted me to create their main stage experience, here are a few initial concepts i created. if you ever had the desire to dance inside one of my paintings here is your chance. the Boom happens every two years in Lisbon Portugal and the dance floor will have over 15,000-20,000 people at any given time.
the dj booth will be at light and sound activated glowing stellated dodecahedron,
i have teamed up with audiopixel to have the structure dynamically driven by the music, here is a quick movie of how it will look in action
a few weeks ago i had the pleasure of setting up a booth at the NASA Andrews Airforce base for Yuris night , with the help pf Wacom we were able to expose the wonders of digital art and technology to over 1000 young inner city elementary students,
you can see a gallery of the photos HERE
that's it for now , thanks for looking.![]()

Anyhow your work is looking, as ever, marvellous. You walk the line between visionary art and popular art with applomb, and that is a skill I think many would do well to emulate!

.... hey android, is there any way you could take a quick peek at my SB? you and vyle are always a continuing source of inspiration to me.
