Thanks for the info Scooter! I don't see my name on there, probably because I was one of the people who won the class and didn't enter shipping info. My name is Ian Barker, btw.

    Images should be even smaller!

It might be helpful to size all of your images at 7.5 inches for the longest direction, at 72 dpi which would make the long side at 540. Then save for web as a jpeg no larger than 150 kb.

I have been loading lots of whiteboards the last 4 weeks and this is how Brent and I have been preparing all the images!

Good luck and I look forward to seeing everyones work next week!

    John

Oh now I see it - it's under Ladjane V da Rocha, the person who payed for my discovery class.

Oh, I was wondering if anyone early on in Tuesdays list would be willing to trade places with me? I have class at my regular school class about 2 hours after the reviews start.

Cool!, I am primarily a 3D artist / Animator, I assume there is no option for including video? if not I could just post up some screen shots?

    What to include?

Im a complete beginner and I dont have a large body of finished work to show. Are studies and sketches also things you would include in a portfolio?

It's probably not going to be an issue for me since I'm going 3rd... ... but should we create a title slide to avoid confusion when we are switching between artists?

I'll be at work during the portfolio review. I might be able to pop in from time to time but...how will that work? I'm second from last on Monday, today. I didn't see this thread until just now, and I don't have all my portfolio images with me on my laptop at work.

Ok, here comes a stupid question - assuming the time in the document file is the correct, how many hours until it start from now, 10?? The time zones really confuses me now :>

Same here Phil, I'm kind of scraping around for enough pieces that I actually finished! I'm not looking to make a career of this, but any constructive criticism is good right?

applecheeks: yeah, im leaning more towards the technical side anyway, so Kemp would be a better critic for me. so i guess we need to ask Scooter if we can do so eh?

leticia: do you have a digital camera? you can download a free trial of photoshop or painter (for 30 days), as well as fully free programs like gimp.

Hey, this is going to sound like a silly question, but when you say 540 pixels "long side" is length, correct?

So if I had an 8.5 x 11 inch thing and covered it to pixels in photoshop it should be 417x540.. is that right? Seems like a weird number to me, so figured I'd check.

    Thanks.
