Girl of the Day (Thom Scott stuffbook)

About two weeks ago I started a new sketchbook project for practice. the plan is I post a drawing or painting of some sort of a girl of some sort every weekday for a year. I thought I'd post in a sketchbook thread here as well, in hopes of getting feedback. I've been concentrating on trying to get good, at least tabletop game level work faster, as well as introducing better flow and maybe anatomy into my female figures.

The first few posts here will be to get the eleven images done so far up, then I'll post each days girl in a new post.

#8 is a prelim for the current ArtOrder challenge. Her legs are digitigrade (I think that's the term?)

Had a slow day today so I was able to completely restart the composition I had sketched out tuesday and power into rendering.

wow, because of the subject matter I didn't expect this to be very original but that is pretty creative actually. However I do think you've gone a little overboard with the demons..

i love the female figure but you portrayed them in such powerful scenes, and your colouring is great, i love it

Really nice!
I'm amazed how many different ideas You have. Really nice work, and handling of colors and posing. Watch for the balance though. The Akako girl and Cpt Raven look off-balance to me, but I'm no expert in that. I suggest getting reference sometimes for some of those poses.
One more suggestion for You would be to try painting a more delicate / feminine female characters as well and not only strong heroines.
Also, You could try varying their body types more.

All that being said, I love Your works so far and will definitely come back to see more. Keep it up and good luck!
