Here are some painted sketches. I did these after buying the Greg Manchess video. I like his painting style to begin a painting, but I prefer to refine the edges more and lose my brush strokes. Both were done in about 30 minutes in oil.

Here's something I did in two hours over two days as a quick study trial. I didn't have time to finish the hands due to intrigue with other anatomical parts.
