Dethklok art

I did this for fun and just finished it up. It's a Dethklok inspired Four Horsemen envisioning with some 2012 added to the mix.

Comments/crits welcome.

I really love the simple colours! The portraits are very good too, I've only seen a few minutes of the show on youtube, and I still recognized the characters!

EDIT: The hand holding the mic looks like it could use a bit more work to match the very nice left hand, and the hands of the guy closest to us feel a bit small.

I like, I think Nathan should stick out as a more bluish like the others though, when I first glanced at it I didnt even notice him

Thanks everyone for the comments, I really appreciate it.

Super Skoda– I was going for a Hudson River School effect with the sky, at least with the color choices, I had tried adding some falling rain to the clouds but it ended up making the sky too busy. I was going to fit those wayward kitties in, any way I could lol

Serpian—Thanks, good catch, I'll do some more rendering to his right hand.
I originally tried to give more color to the four on horses but I discarded that idea early on, as the pictured read better if the areas of action were blocked out monochromatically and kept simple like you said.

JFierce— I had wanted Nathan to be like the clouds and blend, but I could try adding a little more bluish/green from the sky in his skin though.

Oh, I love it in that episode when Nathan admits he used to wrestle pigs. It's weird, but I named my snail after him. Lovely painting, love the episode references. I can find of course Dr. Rockzo and the cats, but also banana stickers, the Metal Masked Assassin, and General Crozier. Is that Dr. Twinkletits in the foreground with the banana stickers? I can't really recognize his mustache.

Thanks GoGo, yeah the mustache is a little hard to read on him, it just occurred to me that I could tint it with some brown stokes...not sure why that didn't pop in my head before, as a solution.

Oh my this is brutal. It should be Dethklok album art or something. Love the use of colour...and the expression on Toki's horse!
