ROFL. That thumbnail is hilarious. Reminds me of an old Terry Gilliam animation from Monty Python or something.

The figure drawing stuff is excellent. Looks like you're using some Vilppu with the contour stuff (moving your pencil over the form).

I think you could use some boning up on facial constructions. The features seem pretty consistently out of place on most of what I see here.

    Great start, though.

Discovered a new trick for photographing a painting with out setting up my lights and filters and what not.. Just move the light so the glare is on different parts of the painting.. then crop the pictures to the nonglare parts and photomerge them.

Unfortuantely Im using a shit 5 dollar yellow lightbulb from target so its raping my colors to the point is hard to save them in photoshop

Cool Vilppu portrait and the faster stuff is really fluid and looking great. The slower stuff is good too, but doesn't have much advantage over the quick 10 minute ones IMO.

    Nice colors in your latest.

Nice ink-wash stuff. I think the Vilppu one really captures an attitude. I can feel the shrugged shoulders, and the deliberate walk.

um big fail.. but I had fun playing on this brown paper. Its absolute shit for inkwash as you cant really move the ink around at all so Ive got some black shapes laid down that id anticipated on moving around.. tried to cover/lighten them up with the white conte.

O well. I was getting a little to comfortable with the ink wash.

The7Artist7 Thanks for the crit and dropping in

p sage Thanks man. Its a little difficult changing gears from feeling out the forms to jumping straight into a final statment.

Great figure work going on! It seems pretty consistent that the head or the face is too small in relation to the rest of the body. The face especially. Most people make the face too big. Just be aware of that next time you draw and try to relate it to the rest of the body. Keep posting and drawing from life- its all looking good!

That's a nice nude, though. I think the neck is a bit flat-ish. Other than that, I have no major problems with it.

Yeah. I agree. Great faces! Huge improvement in a short amount of time. Amazing. The last one is so precise it looks like a lithograph or something.

you have many good studies here! I like the quick drawing 5-10 min, good job!
Your less strong point i think is the position and proportion of the eyes. I recommend some skull/eyeball studies to fix that.

    Cheers!
