The one with the diving helmet is fantastic, but the vampire one is just heartbreaking. Its rare in vampire pictures that you feel for the victim. So often it is the vampire that is the focus, and the victim is just there as something for them to threaten. Here, you can tell by her expression that the girl has been fighting against what's happening to her, and now knows it's too late. There's no going back.

Beautifully done. Visual storytelling at its finest.

    All solid work.
However 'War1' really stand out for me. The amount of movement and energy in that piece is fantastic.

Great post (even the ones I've seen before).

So so good Randis.. When I looked closely at the blade of the staff as it goes into skin on the 4th piece...I let out a big "whoa."

Well, I don't have a lot so say, but:

    Wow.

Absolutely awe-inspiring. Some are very imaginative and interesting. A great deal of them gives the impression that there's a larger (and facinating) story behind them, that the viewer doesn't get to glimpse. If you know what I mean. This makes the works far more interesting, to me at least.

Again, great work and I'll be on the lookout for more.

    hey randis,
cool to see some new work from you. the realistic paintings are sometimes a little too clean (glatt) for my taste but that's just personal.
    i really like this painting/style
