    half an hour sculpting

I got this idea when I started yet another sculpt without finishing all the others. I usually have like a dozen ideas floating around in my head and no time to make them all (in an ok quality). so I decides to make the newer ideas into quick sculptures. just rough them out and get the idea out of my head. and now I'd like to challenge all of you.

    the idea:
you get half an hour for the actual sculpting, armature and planning not included.

    the subject:
crazy critters, from flying monkeys to deepspace crocodiles only limited by your imagination.

    requirements:
just say you're in and start your work.
post one or more picture(s) of your sculpt after the half hour of work. additional clean up (smoothing etc) may be done next and post another picture. (so you don't have to waste time smoothing and finishing in that half hour.

the best part is from the moment you decide to enter to the 'finished' entry may take as little as an hour work!
This could also help people sculpting.... well faster obviously and get to the core of the intended sculpture.

last but not least, have fun with it!

Unfortunately not a critter, but anyway.

28 minutes, NSP medium (I actually hate that stuff, but it's awesome for quick, raw work).
Total height is 2,7 inches. The missing arms are intended.

nice work! I don't really like the water based clay either. it bought it as support for making molds but it is indeed great for these quick sculpts.
and here's my citter entry. bad pic's of a bad sculpt but i had fun making it and that's most important thing.

in my original idea, the mouth was filled with rows of sharp teeth, but there wasn't time for that 3+))
