Pretty cool speepaints. Maybe a little more value? It'd be great, though, as mentioned above, to see some graphite when you post more. :]

Started Following along with Mark Winters classes,

    Introductions
My name's Corey Hendrey and I'm 16 years old.. I would love nothing more then to have a career in conceptual art. I live in Hervey Bay, a small town on the east coast of Australia. Never left Australia! Very boring after 16 years of pretty much being in the same town. I play the guitar and love metal / rock, hate R&B stuff >,< That's about it!

    Here's the three sketches:
First is from ref, second ref + imagination, third from imagination.

Good start, but I'd like to see some more anatomy studies/lifedrawings and pencils. Don't forget to study and draw as much as you can. Good luck.

    Keep it up!

it looks like you're trying to avoid drawing certain things, especially hands. i'd suggest looking at Loomis' methods (heads & hands for example) and doing a bunch of studies. you've got some cool stuff here, but studies would really help.

MacKs Thanks man, I'll do a full band one later
`ej Thanks! I love my music lol

My scanner crapped itself, when I plug it in - windows does literally nothing. No errors - no action at all. But I found its the scanner, I tested it in my brothers computer.. same thing happened.

If anyone knows a fix (Epson CX3100) I'd be really greatful!

So I'm stuck with uploading digi's, you'll just have to trust me when I say I'm putting all your advice about traditionals to work!

The consistent problems I notice are your strokes and the muddiness. You should try using as large as possible brush for every area. It will make your forums feel more solid and less scribbly. And maybe try working full opacity for a few images, so you can see what the true colors are and not rely so much on going back in with gray to nail the value.

Just some thoughts and suggestions I had while looking over everything. =D
