Hey, nice work everyone!
I would like to join the crusade, the dark side.
I just did this forest sketch to get in the mood for the rest of the crusade... I know the times up n that i have not joined yet. So i'll remove it if it is any problems!
keep up the good work!
iv quickly done this so you guys can advertise the art crusade in your sig (not on this site of course as you can't have images)

xabian, thats beautifull. + 1 to loot of your choice - pm me what you want.
I'd love to join the dark sidecan't wait to join the next round!
so, now what?
ikuru > now the crusade moves to battle two good luck everyone, watch out for headhunters
well, round 1 is over, how was it ? i'm good to keep running this thing with chaos , theres some cool stuff planned in the upcoming battles to keep you interested and more importantly , to keep you drawing.
where the art crusades came from.- i've noticed a trend that people love the grind if theres a payoff, a reward for their efforts, I'd been waiting for something like this to pop up at a forum with enough artists phsyked enough to take it to the next level, i tryed it once before at a smaller forum but you know how it is with forums on the edge of nowhere with limited members. You get even one bump in the road and everyone jumps ship, but here at conceptart we're all about the bumps in the road, i think most artists here get it- draw hard for a long time, then draw some more because its fun and its how we live.
i'd love to get your feedback here at the end of round 1, thoughts and weather or not we need a story to go with this crusade, because by the end of this thing, if me and chaos keep it interesting and keep you all phsyked, we will have a nice chunk of art.
cheers , and for everyone who jumped in for this round - bearhugs

Hey Alti.
Its all good and Im happy to see how you get involved in this. My crit would be to make it a bit more simple and clear from the start... It seems a feaw people Including me, just signed up without really knowing whats going down... Also I understood there would be some kind of poll or voting, but that never happened or maybe I didnt understand it right.. Anyhow, cool effort, good show.![]()
the poll is up though. check main area
I think it's fun, and I'd like you to continue. I like the epic feel of the competition, as well as the fact that it's going to be a great portfolio builder.
It started out as something that was interesting, and after you kept expanding the idea, you really got me hooked
good one on ya alti![]()
I'm with Ikuru; a clear explanation of what the battles are and what's expected should be included somewhere in the forum if not at the start of each battle thread.

i've noticed round 1 images, and even the items to gain were very fantasy based, is that the rule, or is it up to the artist to interprate it in any way they wish, in much the same way LMS is?
alti...
ahm, i'm just curious, since chaos took my sketch to poll, if i get a little tag thing? :/ (if not, no worries, i'm just not clear on how loot works.)
I already posted something in the thread of the second round, but here's some more to bother you with
First of all, although I didn't participate I've followed this sort of from the beginning and I immediately liked the idea. However, it has grown almost exponentially from a simple one on one battle for fun to a seperate thread for a whole crusade. This didn't really happen in a very structured way (thank the heavens for that I'd say) as ideas where thrown around and expanded upon during the first round. This results in a very chaotic first round full of enthusiastic people which is great, but it might be a good idea to get things a little more structured to ensure the future of the Crusade. I already suggested putting up a stickied thread with the rules and ideas for this activity so we don't have to brows all the different forums and read all posts in here to get a grip on what is and what is not a rule etc.
Again, I find the idea of an online art role playing game totally hilarious and great so I hope this leads to more good stuffIf you and Chaos need any help let me know.
