I totally agree with your simile you're getting better it shows in your progression of work- you should take more time on your work however, even if they're just sketches. An extra 10 seconds or more can do a lot to the final outcome. I think your work in post #13 proves that. I agree with not worrying about lighting or shading that much until you're past anatomy. You're doing well, your gestures really show a firm understanding of motion and your style of curvature of each line is fascinating. Most of all you can not forget to keep drawing- do not be discouraged by the lack of comments. For drawing itself is a reward- being rewarded by drawing is as well;

If your on a journey to absolute expression- go with it and see if it fits your expectations. Just lineart and implied lines, and color is beautiful if done appropriately.
