Hi

I'm a grad student at NU Singapore. used to draw/sketch ages ago.

I am going to keep this fairly updated (atleast once a week) ... but no promises

I am interested nowadays in sketching faces and thats what I will be doing for some time atleast. Got a collection of some great posts and books on drawing faces, but get hardly enough time to read or draw.

Hi and wellcome to CA mate!

It's hard to judge seeing only 4 of your images, but i really like the first one. There's a nice feeling to it, hard to describe but the drawing, though simple, is very eye catching.

Keep those doodles comin'.

Nice effort keep studying the construction of the head loomis book on that free online look in ref section....Dont think of individual hairs think of clumps or shapes of hair...think of designing character of the person..IE no lines on smooth baby face etc...keep it up!

How's it going?

Seems like you can nail likenesses pretty well, now. There's been a lot of improvement. The faces you're drawing from memory could use some help. I would suggest looking at Loomis' books and other resources to help with some of the construction... I think that would help your heads tremendously.

As seen by the facial drawings you've done from reference, you certainly have the capability to become great. Keep working!
