    Manga process vids (youtube)

    Just found these timelapse vids. I don't know who the artist is (is he famous?) or what his manga is about. Interesting to see how he does his pages and how he uses photo and real object refs. If you go to the poster's youtube channel, don't view the very first vid where the screen preview shows empty pages. Looks like the artist had to perform some weird manga-shinto-ritual-shit involving bodily fluids before commencing work. Disgusting. You have been warned.

    But here are some choice vids (not posted in sequence). SAFE FOR WORK as long as you don't pause and inspect some of the refs and panels too closely.

    Haha, great technique. Who needs custom brushes when you can spit the ink of your pen to make bloodsplatters. I always thought they shake there overly filled brushes at their paper. Gotta try that out.
