    Deanna! These... These are wonderful! The brush stroke quality is really, really, (added for extra effect) REALLY nice! Maybe you could be my painting tutor! EH! EH!

    the big portrait is looking really cool. But I agree with Jens. Maybe just try starting with changing the background? Like making it darker.
    Anyways, post some more!

    Not much to say about your sb yet... you really ought to post MORE!!! Even if it's work you did for school and not for yourself. (I'm guilty of waiting wayy too long between posts as well). But you have a good start...

    You should do value studies. the reddish one looks very much... well, the same. But that could be the monitor bleeding the colors. But the middle tones get lost with the shadows/background
