    Hannibal's elephants

    vs carthage battle

Rome (I used some 3d yep)

    enough of Romans
    ************************************************** ***
    now vikings !

    some berserkers

again on a boat (inspired by a rembrandt painting)

    constantinople

Whoa, really good craftsmanship and painting style. I like it's soft feel to it, and the one of the elephants is particularly outstanding.

Love it all. Especially the lion and Constantinople.

Can I ask if these are for specific projects?

    Please post more.

Very nice action and movement. Very bold piece with the elephants - very nice result! The lion-piece looks great, but the hind legs of the cat looks too human, I think. There are som minor anatomical and perspective flaws here, but you do not fear the tough postures, and overall these looks great! The wolf-attack and the elephant-piece are my favorites. Constantinople doesn't messure up with the rest. Good work!

Impressive work man, especcially the rendering and composition and color. Chosen very clearly and they tell a story. Chapeau

I agree with Rhineville and Cloister to say that the anatomy is a bit off here and there. My eye fell also on open mouths, they look strange and crooked. With the scream avec lighting in the background as an exeption. In my fav, the one with the horse and the wolf, the mouth of the wolf, one of the focuspoints of the piece, could use extra attention. It doesn't seem to have a throat.

    Overall good pieces. Me likes

In fact, berserks attacked NAKED. I'm not joking - no protection at all, even from mosquitos

naked and on magic mushrooms - (note to self: run in opposite direction as fast as possible)

    Nice Renderings!

There are so much good stuff, lion - sea battle - elephants. Some nice energy in some of these.

The fact that this stuff actually happened is amazing.

I would like to see more grit and blood - but wonder if the specs for the job impacted on this. I always want to see more grit and blood though...

Actually they did wear armour. It was just light armour. Attacking naked would be senseless. They were berserkers, not stupid.

Negative. No mushroom (that they had access to anyway) can cause the reported "berserker-rage". If anything, eating the mushrooms would dull them down, and make them sleepy.

But hey, this is about the art! Which I love. Love the movement, love the composition. Aside from the anatomical weirdness in some of these, great work!

Beautiful stuff. Odin is supposed to have one eye, be heavier built, and have a shield. I love the Fenris wolf, and Sleipnir (his horse, I don't think I spelled it correctly at all, lol).

    Diana goddess of hunt/moon

    Neptune, god of the seas

    **************************************
now here is something totally differerent , I was asked to imitate that old japanese print look for a book about ninjas. tons of fun to illustrate

(it's a he ,not a she, actually he was the first real ninja since he disguised as a woman to betray his ennemy )

I think are really good compositions, But I don't really know much about compositions, i still think they are laid out well, did you plan out the composition first or just have and idea and start painting it?
