Time for an Icelandic group!

I just recently relocated to Iceland. I need to form a good network of artists, and I didn't see an Icelandic group thread yet, so here it is. I sorted users by country and therre are enough people here to form a group, so let's try to get something going.

Having just arrived I'm not sure what there is in terms of zoos/museums/life drawing sessions etc, but maybe just a meet and greet at a coffee shop, or American Style (my favorite restaurant so far) would be in order.

Since I've lived here for the whole 17 years of my life I thought I'd suggest some places.

We have a zoo, but it doesn't have any exotic animals however. It only has horses, cows, pigs, chicken, roosters, minks, some kind of reindeer, seals and some more.

I think it would be best to meet up downtown 101 on a sunny day. Go to a café, the pond, "Austurvöll" and the harbour maybe.

Three's enough for fun times! Skuli and Simmi, you want to meet up either Friday night, or Saturday sometime during the day for some coffee and sketching or whatever? That is if you don't mind an American mucking it up with his accent. :-)

Simmi, you went to the SF workshop, yeah? I think I met you there.

Yeah you met me at the sf workshop. I was the quiet shy guy there hehe

So me and skúli talked. We are both free on Sunday. Ingunn as well. We are busy on Friday and have little free time on Saturday.
How does that work out for you?
We are also trying to get a few more people to come.
Where would you like meet up?
The weather forecast looks good for Sunday so maybe somewhere close to the house of parliament?

Man I stumbled on this thread by pure luck X)

Anyway, it'd be awesome to get to be a part of the group. I've grown pretty isolated from socializing with artsy people x__x

Since I don't live in Reykjavik it'd be good to get notified in advance so I can make plans regarding transportation and stuff

Thanks for a a really fun meeting guys, me, Simmi and Poop met and I must say that we really have to do this again!

Well I just wanted to let you guys know that me and Simmi are gonna be showing a couple of pieces at the Old Library (Gamla Bókasafnið) in Hafnarfjordur
