Help me improve

Ok this is my character design for my assignment. I color it in Illustrator which i have to. Any opinion?????
Character : UCI
Short Discription : Uci a demon who lives in a fantasy world called Criston. Commonly called the bully by the local because he always bully others. All the local are afraid of him and no one has ever confront him before because of his powerful weapon. So Uci thinks that he can do whatever he wants.

I used my friend laptop , his laptop display the image .

You should open your image in the pc, save it there and then post it, so more people can see it and give you advice.

the image may be in cmyk color as well, try saving in rgb and re-uploading

Hmm, to me it looks like you rely to much on the powers of photoshop. dont.

Grab a pencil and draw with that one at first and learn how to use the pen.

Looks like you colored with a mouse or something. Characterwise, this is very generic and very much....uncoördinated. As a viewer, I don't know if he's hero-material, villain or a sidefigure. Go back to the drawingtable. Spend time on thinking what kind of character this is, what he wears, what he uses for weapon, etc. Cos i'm not too sure what that thing is in his hand, a flame? A dagger? A sharktooth?

With Illustrator, you can get smooth and very controlled lines. You just need some patience and effort. Practice a li'l more, you can do wonders with it. Atm this looks just wayyyy too messy. Start with creating a character in pencil, then you can trace that sketch in Illustrator. Don't use gradients, they'll only flatten your pic.
