This is an illustration, that I did for a book called Angus.
I drew in the paper using mechanical pencil lead 2B and, I made the colors in the painter 9.1.
I hope you like and, I await critics.
Thanks,
Take Care,
Rod.

I like it....I think you went overboard with the thickness of the arm/muscle definitions. Try a thinner brush and see how that looks.
BTW: The wolves/dogs kick total ass
hes looking very...anima....tronic....
talk about a stiffy (litterally). Overall its a very nice piece, but your character is lacking "freedom of movement". The torso and head are very well executed, both in positioning and perspective. However, the whole feeling dies off when your eyes hit the legs and the arms. Saikin also states a good point, none of his muscles are relaxed...which is why it gives you that whole stiff look. You really did go overboard with this left arm, Considering he isnt lifting anything heavy or is placed in a position where he'd have to flex like that. Simply petting a wolf does not require vast amounts of muscle work...lol as weird as that may sound. His arms (or at least the left arm) are also a tad bit to short in "anatomy" standards. Its still a great piece, and yet has alot of potential. Keep at it!

Agree with the abovementioned - when I looked at his right arm, I thought he was about to crush the wolfs head rather than pat it. It also looks a bit like his torso is misplaced above the wide belt, I dont know whats up with that... maybe I just cant see the right line. o_O It looks like taking the whole figure above the waist line and placing it slightly more to the left would cut him less in half though, if Im making myself understood? I would also have liked a bit more pink in the skin, but that might just be me.
The metal details look very nice, and the wolfs are totally awsome!![]()
Great work. I love the ravens and the overall costume.
My only crit would be that Odin is supposed to have one eye. Also his 'weapon of choice' was his magic spear, but I'm just being picky.
The spear would also have a 'leaf-head', sort of oval-like... google.com is your friend.Originally Posted by CRW

mmm his right hand looks strange, like he has a tiny palm, and big fingers attached to it.
anyway love it!!![]()

Hellooo People ,
Saikin - I could really have detailed better his arm, but I had little time to do this illustration, what is not excuse, but anyway, thanks for the comment.
Thestjester - Hey man talking about critics, OWWW...hehehe, you were really deep.
As for the muscles they be not relaxed, I really see Odin as a guy, veryyyyyyy strong, that same when it is scratching the nose, the veins of the arm jump, like those fitness guys, only bigger, because Odin is a God.
But really I understood your critics and, I will try to arrange this, as soon as has time.
Thanks for the comment man.
DragonSnail - Yeah really I could have worked more in his arm , really later I will return and to work a little in that arm. Thanks man.
CRW - Thanks man, I also liked to draw the wolves, hehehe.
YEah, I thought about doing his lance, but I thought about doing a little different, with a very big axe, with the part of a hammer behind, reminding his son........ Thorrrrrr!!!!
Oshadeo - Thanks man, as soon as I have a time, I will work better in his two arms.
Rhynome - Hehehe, google is the keyyyy my frienddd!!! Thanks man .
Arne S. - Thanks man, really I will work better in these two arms.
Nokill - Heyyyy , thanks man.
My . Visions - Thanks man.
mmmm not much to crit but perhaps you should look at the knee area of his right leg (for us the left one) that looks to less mussled in accordance with the rest of his body and limbs![]()
You can't do better than doing your best!
Very nice. I like the sense of cold you've created.
Apart from the anatomy problems, very nice : ]
Peace
