here are a couple of studies from photo ref..... they are pretty much finished, but not quite interesting enough to put in the finally finished section.....

i did them with an "H"..... i know they are light so please, give some criticism beyond that.....

these are really good.

i can only see 2 things that bother me at all.

on #1: his left eye is kind of flat. i would put a little bit of a highlight in it, not as bright as the other, but something.

on #2: i'm not understanding her left foot. we should be seeing her heel, but for some reason i see toes growing out the side.
after a looong look, i assume she is supposed to be standing tippy-toed.
try to draw the foot without the other foot in the way...make sure it works.
tracing paper will make this easy.

with the foot, lie i said its from photo ref, and she is on her tippy toes, i'll do what you said, just in case she had a mangles foot or something....

I think the whole head looks flat, actually - I think though, the photo ref is probably the culprit. The light side makes his forehead, nose and mouth area look too flat - they could use side planes, ever so subtly, especially the nose.

You've done a fabulous job on the eyebrows and hair though! That hatching pattern is working very well and it's reading well as tones on the face too. So often, hatching looks harsh and ugly on the face, but you've made it gentle enough that it reads tonally. Nice work!

Oohh, wait! I know these pictures!
They're from a book I'm using right now too! Forgot the name, but it's the best book I've seen on anatomy ever.
Second one's a recomposition after Ingres's Bathhouse right?
You might have implemented some background from it so she would fit into "somewhere" instead just to be sitting on some glascube as on the ref. (I'd say)
