Did a hand study today, picked a random relatively difficult handpose for me to do and fired away at Painter.
This is my second go at doing a digital sketch polely in painter, used a reference from Sarah Simblet's Anatomy for the Artist and used it to initially plot out the reference points, then tried to render as much of it as possible from my anatomy knowledge which is still lacking considerably.
Threw down the blocking thick and fast then started to pull the colors from the canvas to cut out the image negatively - I find I work the fastest like this.
About an hour or so, still trying to master my tools of choice in painter 9.
