tool to record painting ?

is there any free tool you can recommend to record painting ?
Basically to record the process for a youtube video....

For what OS?

Procaster records your process for Livestream and I believe you can save the recording and upload it to youtube.

There is also camtasia. Not free.

Screenninja is great if you use mac. it basically takes screenshots every x amount of seconds and at end makes a video file of it. It isnt free but really great and doesnt lag up other software.

Camtasia is a good program and it's easy to use.
