This is my rendition of the Red Queen.

I think you should practice a bit more on the human anatomy
Hey Hemispheree, a constructive critique would be greatly appreciated. What do you see wrong in the image that triggered your response?
I am going to start out by saying that this piece looks great, and I know that I am not one to judge based on my own work and my lack of self-confidence or courage to post something in the finally finished section... But what I can't figure out is what the guy on the right is looking at, especially if he is in profile. The rest looks amazing, I love the Queen, I see that you're playing with warm and cool lighting to give her more depth, I really like that. But what I also see is that the background characters are a little flat. Eh, I don't really know wth I am talking about though...might need a few more opinions on this.
Thanks HarbingerofIllrepute
I really appreciate your feedback. You pointed out some things I haven't noticed til now. I guess it can happen when you stare too long at the same painting for a long time. You are right about the guy in the foreground as well as the characters in the background looking flat. I wanted them to fade into the background but I guess I removed their depth at the same time.
