Joined a contest over at Polycount to make a weapon model for Darksiders 2. Right now I'm in the concept stage, here's some designs for axes. I'll probably get some more weapons posted at some later point for more critique.

Two things that bug me.
1) The Ram Skull axe, there are nails in the base that are pointing upwards towards the hands/arms of the wielder. I would remove those.
2) The three skull axe, the first notch in the axe handle looks more like a serious crack, any impact on that considerable axe head would probably snap it in half quite easily.
You keep tilting towards the left side, weapons are crafted in heights.
