Well its taken a while to start posting but I decided I would go ahead and start a sketchbook any critique is appreciated

Your off to a awesome start.

I'd say do some traditional drawing studies though of the beats/snake like creatures so when you do end up painting them, they look more realistic.

Also head on over to ctrlpaint.com it is a great resource to learn digital painting.

Awesome work! Personally I like the upper most (from your last post) painting. I could even imagine finished piece. Post-apocalyptic, Fallout-like enemy with some sort of power armor, hehe...

So I just started a class at cgmw with james paick, and it already has helped me out a lot, I can already notice improvement after 1 class.
