so i know this topic has enough of these already and i don't know how much luck i'll have. but this site and all the people on it inspire me so much to become a better artist and i feel like since joining i have been pushing myself to study art better, rather than getting frustrated and giving up like i have in the past.
so i'm currently looking for anyone who would be willing to 'mentor' me. you know, drop by my sketchbook and point out what i should work on more, talk over email/PM/skype. there are so so so many awesome people and artists on this site and i would love if someone wouldn't mind taking a bit of time - not much really at all - every couple days or every week or twice a month, whatever you have time for - to just share their thoughts on process, learning, anything about art; and help me improve. it would really be appreciated (:

anyone looking for some friends on this site who are also planning to be here for a while and study, and want to keep in touch via email or a thread something to chat! one of my christmas presents was riven phoenix's 'the structure of man' video set, so i'm going to be going through that and learning anatomy. i'm also hoping to get better at digital painting, mostly in greyscale right now. so if you have similar ideas of what you plan to study, hit me up, i would love to hear from you.
