Coming along. Might do some studies. I know they sound lame but they really can help improve style and control. Not just for shapes and forms, but for values as well. Keep on-a posting!

masterpug : will do, actually almost every community activity is making me research stuff that i never would otherwise. Time is also hard for me to come by and it takes me ages to create anything.

This weeks creature of the week, i took a risk doing panels, hopefully makes it to the poll if not thats okey.

For this weeks CHOW# 254 hmm.. I like number 1 and 2, no1 is sci-fi no2 is an alien ala fantasy angel style something reminds me of top cow comics, should try and distance myself from than no3 and 4 are just after i lost steam and had to call it a nite, but no 3 is medieval fantasy its got potential and no4 is a young british queen sort of style.

Gonna go with no2 will post the results here again as usual
also working on this weeks IDW. mmmwhahahahaha!!!

Way to busy, didn't mange to finish this so its gonna be a personal piece i'll keep focusing on weekly if i can, the coming week its IOW#1 !!! and CHow Orc this is gonna rock.

Many faults but its gonna be a sort of study work practice fun piece for me spend about 30min on this today.

Coming along well, keep practicing!

You're using chicken scratch lines. Try to use as few lines as possible, it'll help you gain confidence and accuracy that you wouldn't otherwise with the style of lines you're using now. I also recommend doing some black and white studies, grab a photo and desaturate it and try to capture the tones as best as you can, and some gesture will help you too!

I love Australia, I've lived here for over two years now its great, I'm actually polish, I've lived in South Africa, England, Germany and Poland. Don't really feel like I belong anywhere but life in Australia is great, And in a way I am representing Australia now.

Last nite was probably the worst night shift I've ever had blew a gasket

Didn't complete it at all but I like the way its looking already, I guess I'll have to be satisfied with this for now. Really wanted that background couldnt get it in the end

Still finished this a day ago uploading this before I call it a night LOL at 9:22am in the morning, really need to get lucky and illustrate/ make concept art for a living . . . . . I'm a dreamer I dream my . . . . . . . . . .

Nice sb .. really like your Orc/Ogre Character with Staff..
I would say dnt focus on detailing, work on fundamentals first.. you will feel much confident while coloring and other detailing n rendering stuff..

Tried to render a nugget of gold as a philosopher familiar, playing on the philosophers stone concept. hope i didnt break the rules it looks a little humanistic! who knows maybe the judges will show me leniency . . . just no time me have the past few days so i did this in a couple of hours.
