My work is mostly traditional, and horror/fantasy based, but I'm planning on getting some digital experience soon. Hope you like what you see.

A couple of black and white illustrations for an upcoming horror anthology. Did these using black pen on A3 Bristol Board.
(Images are up on magazine website and permission was given by the editor to display them)
Cool!

Trying to keep this thread going but I've nothing new to post yet - first rights and all that. So I thought I'd put a few older pieces up for now.
Hope you like them!

Thanks, Absorbenghost. I like to explore a subject and if it's horror, I'll get right into the nitty gritty no fear. Seems the folks I did those for liked them so it's all good.

More completed artwork. Morpheus Tales horror magazine just released their latest issue with my art on the cover. I'm chuffed to bits seeing it in print because I loved painting it.

Here are a few pieces from a batch of black and white interior illustrations I did for Dark Moon Digest #5 horror magazine.
They're, in consecutive order; a Wendigo, dragon rollercoaster, tangle of worms, and a man with boils breaking out on his face.

Havent updated this thread in a while. Hopefully I'll have some new pieces available later in the year.
For now, a horror illustration I did for Morpheus Tales and a personal landscape study from photo ref.

Last one is pretty cool! I like the softness and purple blue shadows -- it's fairly low key though, might need a bit more brights to really make it pop. Keep it up!

Thanks Jordy!
The dimness is probably more to do with my shitty scanner than lack of bright tones in the actual painting. I should have adjusted the contrast and brightness on it to compensate, oops.
Lesson learned for next time.
