Perhaps it isn't quite upgrading, but this is what instantly came into my mind, perhaps I stretched the concept a wee bit too much. This is also my first foray into the lands of the daily sketching group. I hope the messyness isn't a problem ^^.

The Freedom Star corporation greatest achievement, the peace maker used to be a top of the line combat robot. However, with the introduction of more advanced models and inmminent substitution, their subservience programming didn't quite worked... it isn't unusual to see the surviving models offering their services to the highest bidder on the underworld. Their numbers dwindle, and most models have been destroyed, either in the wars they were used or in the line of work most rogue peacemakers underwent. They are however still more than a match to any human opposition, and serve as exellent "private security forces" for those who can afford it, specially since they are independent self contained units, and require no technical assitance from any human, except in extreme cases, giving them a very high surviability.

Edit: Sorry my image didn't upload on the beginning, but it's fixed

My last official class as a student at Columbus College of Art and Design is this Thursday. Graduation ceremony on the 14th.
Things have been a little chaotic lately.

Well, at least they're thinking about it, they just need some more monies

A bit of an homage to one of my favourite -make me nostaligic- movies.

For most people, attachments are disabled for the DSG, so you must have your image hosted by some outside place, like Photobucket
(or wherever.. there are a bunch of free hosting sites available).
Once you've done that, copy the url of your hosted image and do this:
    [IMG]paste your image url here[/IMG]
Now your image should show up just fine.

** ALTERNATIVELY, you can post a link to your image by using the good old [url] tags... If you use any reference photos, please include a link to them in this fashion.
(Incidentally, I'm not sure why this is. I usually want to show the work in my sketchbook thread anyway, so I upload it to my sketchbook and then link to it here.)

And then God said, "Let us make man in our likeness and our image. Let us make him ridiculously hard to draw so that poor artists everywhere will have to spend 10,000+ hours failing repeatedly before they can begin to capture the form and likeness onto a two-dimensional surface." And there was man. And it was good. And artists everywhere lost their minds.
