Thank guys for the encouragement and welcome
raminafshari - In my journal I use a mechanical pencil or a fine liner 0.3mm. Sometimes some coloured pencils. It's a mix between observation and imagination since I have loooong lunch breaks at work.
All my digital work I use a Wacom.
I'm not sure if that's what you meant lol?
Todays drawing.
Had to draw this image when I saw it in the Winter 2010 magazine for Urban Outfitters.
Very nice. The flowers are amazing! I've never been able to do digital, I just don't have the patience.
That last painting is really cool. The colors you chose turned out well :] I'd buy that perfume hehe
great alternative for the perfume advertisement. I don't know the original one but I'm sure that I like your's better
Your sketchbook looks interesting so far, I like the diversity of style. Keep working on proportions: I noticed that your arms and legs tend to be a bit thin. Remember that libms closer to the torso are thicker than libm that are further away. (Yoga studie 36.)
Great start, but your human poses are a bit stiff. It seems to me that you are drawing the outline and not the structure. Grab some anatomy books, like Bridgman or Loomis to understand the structure.
Quick environment sketch.
I decided to try a speed mountain top sketch from my imagination and create some sort of interesting image.. but got 5 min into it and realised I had no idea what I was doing. Checked out some reference photographs and played with various brushes. Maybe need to practice some studies from photos etc?
Also getting a Bridgman book for Xmas. Hurry up December!![]()
Love what you've done so far, especially the use of colour in some of your piecesDefinitely agree with Pixel Cheetah about studying anatomy. I've been doing a bit of work with Loomis. Definitely not as much as I should be doing, but even the small amount of studies and reading has helped me with my understanding of the human form. Life studies will help too
Can't wait to see more of your work!

so yeah.. I was sorta away for a while...
Anyways.
Been pounding the sketchbook with speed drawings, 45 secs each using the posemaniacs.com online program. It's awesome!
Here's a speed painting I did today, 1 hour:
Need to get back into doing these.
I don't post/do enough
Here's three of my most recent work.
The tiger and landscape were studies from photographs. Practicing with brushes, technique, everything.
The troll is based on my wow character. Trying to paint water..
Your digital painting is so amazing. Don't stop the good stuff!
