I was never that great at art, but next to nothing is higher than nothing, right?

    Hm I hate intro topics.
It always feels to me as if I have to sell myself.
Well I guess I should start by saying, I am absolutely awful at drawing. Though I guess that's kind of an overstatement. I'm not terrible, I just don't have the motivation at the moment, the inspiration. That's what I hope to gain from this forum, a better grasp of the techniques and how I can apply them to all areas of art, In particular graphic design. But if my rather small, two years of graphics, in comparison to the vast majority of artists, has taught me anything, its that I need to fully understand the fundamentals of art itself before I can truly progress as an artist. I believe one of the things I am missing is a source of good constructive criticism, which should give me the drive I need to apply myself to my work.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, and be sure I will put all criticism to good use, I don't come here with any ideas of me being an amazing artist.

EDIT: I will scan in some of my sketches later, if I can get my awful scanner working. I'd appreciate it if someone could link me to the appropriate place rather than me make a fool of myself.
