Perspective, viewpoint, 3D looks

It has been pretty much replication of the example drawings on the book.
Now, I move into study muscles and bones.
I'm going to start drawing in my imagination soon: Male and female figures in various posture.

Began to draw out of imagination. Fun parts come in.
It takes longer and needs to think alot while I'm drawing.
I'm trying to master perspective, all kinds of postures of human figures if possible.
Came up an idea about showing 3D directions and perspective gauge. (Left, Right, Top, Bottom, Front, Back plus Two depths of perspective boxes)

good start, there's a few issues you throw into your figures' proportions like moving the waist around or , in quite a few of them, making the torsos too large but this one is far more accurate

try to actively keep those proportions in mind until you get more comfortable with figures.

Draw practice for real objects.
Used regular HB pencil and letter size print paper.

Light was coming from the right window at that time.
While I was looking for an eraser to fix some mistakes, light direction shifted slightly.

Table-raw (dark image) is original JPG file from the digital camera.

Table1 (bright one) was color correction done by Painter X.
I was removing the noise background color but got tired of doing same thing.

I won't do surface paint much till I find the solution of removing noise during digital process.

Redrew the head on Painter X.

Used Charcoal brush to paint colors.

the shadow (C) - Darkest
the reflected light (D)

Made B to D tones by palette but it did not turn out well compared to the original tone work by pressure of brush and multiple strokes over the area.

It seems my dual computer systems stop me using pencil and paper.
I'll force myself hard getting away from the tablet more often.

Put light and shadow with Air brush. It did not turn out well.
Right side one I used Charcoal on the orange background paper.

Need to collect reference photos with good light and shadow effect on.

Drew hundreds figures on Posemaniacs.com yesterday and today.
By end of today, my gesture drawing was picking up the consistency.
Should I reduce the speed below 45sec?

Found best brush for fast drawing. Charcoal
It gives smooth line with gentle pressure.

I'm pretty comfortable of 90 sec mode.

Learned I should always try new things when I stuck or deal with time consuming tasks for past two days.

Drawing on paper gives pencil feel to tablet.
The subtle pressure difference of brushes make big difference.

Drew for about 90 minutes. 60 SEC mode was challenging. I barely kept up the pace. I changed to 90 SEC mode after 24th or 25th figure.
Advanced mode displays radical view point. Most figures are in anti-gravity chamber in lab?

The last two figures with pony tail came up so naturally without a mannikin. So, I was drawing the 3rd figure to complete the sequence. But, I lost the feeling suddenly, ended up drawing figures several times which was unfit.

Need to finish the background though.

Learned how the 2nd horse's rear legs were blended well with shadow.
In addition, the shadow of middle warrior laid on leftside warrior's front body.

Spent few hours yesterday and today how the layer works, Blender brush and Air brush. It is finished for now.

I became a fan of Trance music few years ago. Lately, I got into North American Indian (First Nations in Canada) music. Some of music with Indian arts are so profound to me. I'm quiet drawn to these. I do not understand what those lyrics mean though. By the way, it beautifully represents ideas and beautiful nature itself.

I named the drawing "three warriors". The three warriors met middle of wild land while their journeys, and they became a friends. They were discussing about distance object or place at the moment. They would spend together for a short time...

Hey! Looking good so far! Just keep studying and practicing! On your latest post, I think that it gets a little confusing with all the lines and shading mushed up together. Try drawing a bit bigger, so that the details become clearer. Keep it up!

The size of all the figures including body parts should be smaller than equal to the biggest figure (main observer.)

Designed 10 figures around one circle. #1 figure is the main observer, the biggest one. Learned to show all the figures without overlapping, I need to estimate proper canvas size.

During the airplane trip between July 9th 1:00 AM and July 10th 2:45 AM from Edmonton to home town.

11:45 of nonstop flight in airplane is inconvenient for sure. The airplane moves about 700 km/h to 800 km/h over 30,000ft. It's bumpy and very loud, economy class seat is tight. I'm a small guy though.

Lost the smooth feeling of drawing after one week of no practice.

Began to read 'Constructive Anatomy by George B. Bridgeman, 1920 cause I found Loomis book was not explaining how the muscles and bones of each body parts work together. It has full of muscle diagrams.

There are three masses which won't change shape: head, torso, pelvis by Bridgeman. These masses are connected by a line (spinal cord) and do bend and twist action.

Used Oil brush.
Practiced values. Noticed there are three values on shadow. I see the surface of rocks in shadow.
