    Hey

    I like those studies! I think they are good, so NOT bad!

    How long did you work on each pose?

    Great goal to work towards. I would suggest that in-between posemaniacs studies you do some figurative sketches without a reference. That will give you some insight into the areas that you have particular trouble with and need to pay more attention to when you're doing your referenced sketches.

    201-250

    90 secs posemaniacs

    @Eiki Thanks bro. 90 seconds

    @dierat Thanks for advice, will do. My first goal was to improve my eye-hand coordination and learn to simplify. I see some improvement after each 100 poses.

    @wakoes Cheers

    Very impressive! There is a huge improvement between number 1 and number 338 hahaha awesome work. Like someone said above, I would try to work from no references in between these monster uploads, try to get it down in your head. Amazing work though, very inspiring.
    G'job.

    @Osau Thank you, very encouraging. For now only doing these as you can see helps improving a lot. I'll try some after these 1000.

    @Loathsome Thanks. Photoshop + wacom.

    Hrmmm... I wonder what gave you this idea

    Have fun with it; just remember to keep your mind in it... don't just scribble 'em out. Always be thinking while doing them

    hrmm ive been inspired starting tomorrow im doing 20 figures every day thanks

    doing them is good but dont forget to set more goals

    i think working on the flow of the figure would be good, the lines are looking a little stiff

    keep it coming !

    Looks like there are some explanations needed: this is just my first goal in a long series. Purpose? To put me on track, to start drawing what I see not what I think I see, to learn to simplify (not get stuck in useless details), to see the big shape and therefore draw the proportions right, also get the silhouette right.
    As you will see below only at half of it the improvement is visible. What I'm looking for at the end of this? To be able to draw from observation decently, relaxed not being afraid I'll fuck up the proportions and draw a monster instead of the beautiful woman in front of me And, why not, being able to draw from life in a coffee shop
    I wish you all luck and perseverance in achieving your goals

    @p sage
    I hope ur kidding otherwise it's pretty sad
    Thanks for advice.
    Much respect for your perseverance.

    @Zorcron
    Thank you, you've made my day!
    I hope I explained above.
    Yes, still long way to go but look below where I'm coming from
    I'll pay your SB a visit bit later, on my way out now.

    You can see below how my figures looked like when I started..

    Very cool, I can see this helping with posing a ton. I really need to focus in that area, like a lot. What would you recommend? I have learned to render things out decently but still lack this sort of depth to my images. My figures are always so still or whatever I can pull off from a good reference. I want to do them more naturally.

    Do you do these from memory or do you search out references? Thx for what help you can give. I know in the end it takes work and practice and growth.

    @Sunny Thanks mate. Just go to posemaniacs.com and choose 90 seconds. Do it daily and it will payoff. Good luck

    Good beginning man, the real trick is to feel the pose and see it spatially. try to overlap box studies on some of the 90's.
