might wanna look reference the tree form of a cherry tree. Thye are rather distinctive.

I am assuming this comment is geared towards everyone as none of the images so far show anything "exactly" like a cherry blossom tree.

i didn't want to do a "perfect" look alike cherry blossom tree.

Tsujni- You've managed to capture a real dream like quality in yours that really suits the brief, very beautiful.

Dorobo- Good start buddy, Loads of potential.

Aolean- I like the colour pallete, might want to tweek the composition a little just so it reads better, maybe add two more layers forground and middleground to help lead the eye around the painting. Of course it's early days yet and if this is what you intended, I'll keep my mouth shut and let you work!

Halvarado- I like the First and third wips, The stlye in the second and the subject matter in the first, just watch your vanishing points.

DavDav- Giant trees with ghostly faces, did you eat lots of cheese before going to bed!

Mine so far, I might have taken the 'Moon in every tree' bit a bit to literally!

EDIT: Aolean- just had a look at the landscapes on your website......you clearly know what your doing, i'll be shutting up now!

actually what I mean was that they have to be CHERRY trees.... by some stretch of the imagination. unless you can some how justify cherry blossoms NOT on cherry trees.. because actually "Trees" are not specified. only cherry blossoms. there's a box here.... anyone care to think outside it?
maybe theres a night when the patterns on the moon look like cherry blossoms
maybe theres a celebration on the moon of the dream of extinct cherry blossoms .

i guess it comes in the interpretation of celebration, and who or what is celebrating, . is it a literal meaning and humans are celebrating? or just simply the cherry blossom itself fluttering in the breeze of a wind that looks like some kind of celebration?
but otherwise, on reading the brief again and again, i think i see what your getting at chaos, and i suppose when you get away from the word tree, and just focus on the words cherry blossom and celebration, it becomes a very open brief. but then again it could be far far deeper in meaning, lol this could be interesting

So, I've been a long time lurker of Concept Art and I'm finally deciding to post something. I'm a traditional artist trying to work on my digital skill sooo that's what I'm using this exercise for. I'm also inexperienced with environments. So anyways, sorry for the speech, here's my W.I.P for this. I'm sure I took the concept too literally.
