I was working on a music video set and did some sketches in a sketchbook that came to mind as the music played. I am friends with the director, and he showed the label, now the label wants to license my work. I have been reading online for HOURS about the do's and don't of license agreements, so I feel fairly well informed in the nuances of reproduction versus copyright, sublicensing, etc. But nowhere does it mention anywhere some ballpark figures for the actual MONETARY value for this sort of thing. I need some $$$ figures...
My guess is my sketches will go on stickers, shirts, and other low-end merch for the band. So not a CD cover or anything. Anyone have any experience dealing with this who can help?
thanks a bunch
