I thought that my skills are not improving, but then i realise something. I cant paint life! AT ALL. I can copy from a photo but when it comes to life drawings/paintings, it's just horrible. (No wonder i used to get Cs for drawing class.)
Was looking through Algenpfleger's speed painting and trying to follow. But..BAH.
Gotta practise more. @_@

Yeah ! better than the previous one ! That's why I really find drawing from photos not really interresting ( so to learn colors it's quite good, but to learn proportions, construction, it's not the best ) When you draw from life, you have to transform a 3d object in front of you in a 2d representation on your paper. With a picture, you just redraw a 2d object, and loose all the processus of representing a 3D object ! That's why it's hard !! So Keep it up ! Wanna see more

Okay, i was bummed out that i have no time at work to doodle. Was stuck in the lab doing the computer care stuff for all the coms.

With no paper, there was only the white board. Had to erase it after i draw though. the air was so dry and stale that the ink dries up as soon as i draw it...and i got sick. -_-

It's Eid al-Adha today! Spent some time talking with my family, and catching up on sleep. There's so much meat to eat as my uncle sacrificed a goat or something but i'm vegetarian. @_@ In any case, i'm glad there's ketupat and i can finally say i know how to weave my own! Took me so long to understand.

What i did today. Wanted to clean it up somemore but my wacom suddenly went wonky on me. Meh.

I see improvement in your works, from your first to your more recent. Keep Practicing!
I would say though, That it would be good for you to think about where you are putting your line down first, before you do so with Marker and such. Thought always helps
I really like your open mindedness though, I love the Whiteboard idea

Okay, this is the second time i'm trying out painter. I forgotten that there were so many things that i spent almost half an hour testing all the brushes. Really starting to like it, but it's way different from photoshop, so i'm still trying to get used to it. Probably gonna use it more often.

Quick 5 min thing for today. I went to siggraph asia (thanks to zalxemptyx) and it was great! Looking forward to 2 more days of awesomology. I was really amazed by the new technology now. Met some familiar faces too, which is always a good thing.

I'm really really inspired by the exhibition, but at the same still shit scared. I wanna be as good as those people one day but so afraid i can't make it. I'll never know until i try so i'm gonna push myself even harder.

Siggraph asia was a blast! I truly enjoyed it. Got to meet some cool people and learn new stuff. Definitely an eye-opener and inspiration to me. Yep, this industry is really something i wanna do for life.

Okay, i missed a day, so i'm gonna make up for another one later. My eyes are now red and sore from god knows what and i cant even see properly! I think i'm gonna laugh at this piece when my eyes get better.

Man, painter is awesome. It's like having all your traditional paints in front of you! Problem is that i have no knowledge of traditional art so every tool is so foreign. I think i am going to stick to only one tool for every paint for my next SPs.
