    Good start.
Remember practice makes it perfect, so just keep doing those studies, draw draw draw , and improvement will soon be noticable!

good start. first things first. when you apply values..try using only 3...highlight,midtone and shadow (white, 50% gray, black) and make sure that when you see black..you draw it black..some people have issues with that lol

if you got time try this site
    www.posemaniacs.com/blog
its got great things for lifedrawing

and as for good things about your art. i like your linework. its nice and strong.

nice studies..try to copy masterdrawings..or master paintings..avoid photographs ,they dont teach you squat , dont worry about anatomy now..is hard to copy those plates..better concentrate on perspective, simple geometric shapes and concepts.. and copy other artists..(you are in the process of asimilating a language) , work from life once in a while but not too much.., i prefer the old masters..keep up the good work
my new site, is crazy stuff but is my own space, I can say whatever!! hehe:

ped454: Thanks for the feedback, the site is great, I was looking for something like that

the_allejo05: I don't draw from photos except for very rare cases (like the lion in my last post, I've never drawn one before)... I know I have troubles with perspective but I try to do the anatomy first, once I feel confident in that, I'll go up another level But thanks for the help, much appreciated

Another sketches... I tried some perspective on the second one, but I probably shouldn't be lazy and draw cubes to get it right.

Hey, you're starting off well in a good fashion in anatomy, figures etc.....

when doing your whole figure studies 'apply' the bone structure which you've been learning to the actual body..... think how the shoulder blade looks with skin on and light direction etc and I know you'll hear it a lot but keep practising and you will start to improve quickly !

Hmm I like the sketchyness in your lines, very nice and vivd. I also like the color you got started going here. I would suggest you add even greater value and contrast to your imagest though. Also take a closer look at the anatomy of your figures, I know you are working on that. I see your anatomy as being one of your main problems here so keep at it!

Robo Jing: thanks! I'm happy you like my colors, I grew up on dry media (pencil, charcoal) and this whole color painting is somewhat new to me The anatomy - yeah, I know I should work on that a lot, I'm expecting my copy of Anatomy for artists to arrive next week so I hope it will help me a bit, I have to use an old medicine schoolbook. It's okay, but it has very few pictures Well, back to work I guess
