Wonder why nobody has answered your post? ...Very cool, i like it a lot!![]()
yeah. very nice
woaw ! she's really beautiful ! 'love the overall atmosphere.
Any ref used ?
nice, id say seductive looking.
I think her red dress is i little too saturated and her head falls into the background. Also i noticed you didnt really finish the right hand.
I think if you did some highlights around the outside of her head, like you did on the right leg, she would pop out more.
Cool picture.
BLAST ON YOU!![]()
I wish that was my chair right now. Like it all.
what media is that
I think it is a great picture!. lots of mood, but the outline of her right leg is driving me crazy!
it has to high a contrast with the rest of the picture, and it keeps calling for my eyes attention. the way I see it, it should be her face, and chest+dress thatgrab the viewers attention, but the outline ends up being what I look at...
you might want to look at Bolton's vampires.

2 questions
is she real
where does she live
that's a great pic. I know it's wrong of me to say, but her dress and breasts are the best part of the pic *hackles*...it's all hevy and interesting...or should I say accurate?
what can I say?
No, really, what can I say?
Living Rope: yes i used reference. it was a playboy model pic i found on the net. i'll try and find it again for u
nardfrog: thanks for the comment! i'm gonna try to even out the color saturation more. i'll post again when i'm done. as for the right hand... i kinda liked it. but to each his own![]()
frankhart31: this pic was done in Photoshop 7
R_M: thank you very much for your comment! i agree with everything you said. i'm going to work on everything you said and repost.
All the comments were exactly what i was looking for. thx to all who commented!
so this new one i:
-toned down the contrast on the legs
-added more high lights in the hair
-desaturated the dress a touch
-and bumped up the contrast around the face area
thanks for the great tips! anymore comments? love to hear them
ouuuaaaaa cool!!! only the left hand see blur?

I liked it before, I like it now!
I think it works better, and I like that the right hand is out of focus.
you could saturate a bit more the blood dripping from her chin. that would create a higher contrast and grab the viewers attention towards her face.
keep it up!

this piece has some great areas in it that stand out in interest to me.
great work rendering the lace material on her sholder, the skin has really great traditional painterly qualities in it, but fades in and out. there are blotches in the sking that look really good! and there are parts that look like fuzzy photoshop brush perfection. i like one of her hands, this looks like it should be moved into the work in progress threads. you will most likely get good crits there, that is where i head when i am in the mood to make fun of peoples artwork.
i think the background is hurting the piece, the texture or pattern that is the background, makes the image flat and destroys what depth is being created in the lower half of the panting. i think a less textured, low detailed, or implied background would help the piece tremendously.
i think the blood on her chest looks great, its hue is playing nicely with the colors matching values around it. i do think the blood on her chin looks too opaque, too red and pigmented for blood. i think darkening the blood touching the chin would look more dramatic, as if it where shaded from her hair.
i know you werent asking for a list of todos. :p just know these are not and i was just having fun looking deeper into your painting. these are thoughts that i would think about if i were painting this.
I don't know what inspired you either--- I posted an image just a little while ago of a vamp broad too and I don't know where she came from either.
