I wont let me be down by not gettin comments
    so here's some more,
this was kind of an exercise to play with opacity
normally i just set it to a 100% but now more like 40% op. and 40% flow

    hope u likez it,
    sketch + colors
    C&C always very very welcome!

those are some nice sketches. i like how you try to draw things from imagination. it would help you get a better foundation to draw things from life, not only from photos, since you still have some difficulties with color and proportions. i like your SP's, but i guess since they are painted off from photos you didn't learn too much from doing them. keep going, you will grow quickly.

Saa - thanks for ur comment, yeah ur right i dont really draw from life, but i do from photo's.
maybe i should start drawing from life.
as for the SP's, i dont really agree i did learn a lot from doing them, maybe not as much as i would've if i'd drawn them from life, but i did learn a better understanding for colors

hope to show some pics drawn from life soon hehe

i agree with the above. your colour skills really are great, lavely stuff goin on in that department, but your figures forms are letting you down. honest, from life is the best way, but then again ya cant rule out the usefulness of photos when life drawaing simply isnt possible. but ye, lil figure work should really do ya work wonders.

    Wedding Portrait

someone was willing to pay me for some digital portraits.. weird huh

this will be printed on canvas thats why i have the white bg
I hate the rainbow, I hate cupid, I hate the white bg. But thats what they wanted and who am i to ignore that..

anywayz 3 hours in this.. pretty quick huh

cant say if i like the faces, they look like them.. they're pretty detailed...
but i think its laking texture.. or maybe it needs a more paintery feel to it.. a bit to photo like now, dont know really.

plz C&C so that i can really make the people who this is for happy

Edit : cupid was also drawn from a Ref btw

Hmm, looks pretty good to me.

Yeah i'm seeing improvements from your first works, starting to get that real 'crisp' look.

Your last post looks pretty good to me, if you were to to add anything, maybe a cloud at the left start of the rainbow. I really dont know it looks kind of alone, but it would work how it is.

    Talking

Hey man, didn't know you had a sketchbook here.

    *sigh*
I gotta update mine...I'm such a lazy tard

Anyway, that last piece with the portraits is looking pretty crisp. Good details but I can see what your saying in terms of lacking some kind of texture, but I wouldn't mess with it. As for the background, maybe think about adding more blues and hints of clouds further down and behind the heads and Cupid. That might actually help Cupid look less static and will push the faces out more as well I think. Dunno...you could possibly make the womens teeth more white also, but thats just a small nit-pick. The skin tones are awesome though. See you around the CHOW maybe.

I love the couple picture! They look so happy! You did a nice job making them look real. I would suggest that in the part above the rainbow be less scratchily blended into the white. Blur it, like you did on the sides.

I like your style and your ideas, so keep it up!
