I love that piece drkoshui! You should give knotwork a try. I think you'd be great at it.
I'd love to see this thread be more busy. I love inks. They are an old passion of mine. In that spirit, here's my contribution.

I've never posted on CA before, I figured this would be a good thread to get started.
I've had an account since 2004 but haven't been very active. Hello all, from Calgary Alberta! I figured I'd post an ink drawing as a first reply to a post.
I'd like to create more ink drawings in the future. In the piece above, I used a Brause Blue Steno nib and Brause wooden nib holder on Pescia paper (very soft). Ink used was J. Herbin Indian Ink (little plastic bottle with annoying metal screw cap and yellow Chinese dragon on the label).
If I could change one thing about the above drawing, it would be the mouth area on the rabbit. Next time, next time...

I'm new at drawing with ink..drawing with ink is way slower than with pencil but I love the look..

good job everyone! image heavy woah.
I have to write 'I will not spam' a thousand times in the next week, in by bestest hand writing and say sorry to Black Spot for being so cheeky.
Hmmmm it's funny. I do most of my art in ink and yet I rarely post in this thread. Here's one I finished recently.

Hey all,
First time posting on ConceptArt, I'm just getting back into pen/ink sketching so I guess I'll post here first.

Oh man do I love ink drawings, and the stuff here is great. It's become my backbone lately for my work, after years of trying to half-ass it and feebly get away from it. It's totally helped my brush handling too. Here's some of my little doodles, all done with either a sable brush or one of those pentel brush pens.

I've been practicing a lot with ink, love the results! Here's a page out of my sketchbook, the models are from Pixilovely's Gesture machine.
