Level 11 Gladiator: Essedarii
Hey everyone. Been in a bit of a slump recently over personal reasons but I think I'm starting to get my shit together again. Wizards of the coast re-hired me so I can't show the work I'm doing for them at the moment.
Instead, here is a shitty best of from the last months sketching in and out of the atelier. Nothing particularly special but it always feels good to put something out there. I just finished my studies at the Atelier for the moment, though I will be coming back next year so expect more from September onwards.
Anyway,
First Chalk and Charcoal drawing, starting simple.
Long figure pose, I didn't get time to finish this as we went on a school trip to Prague halfway through and saw a ton of awesome art.
A crazy form of torture. Both of these were completed in just 5 days with the goal of capturing the main sense of light over finished quality. I had to do it twice as in the first iteration the light was not strong enough
Just studies, some from life, some from paintings and some from imagination.
