I have been following around your work for a looong time... i think from the beginning. An it's always kinda like a jolt of energy when thumbling through your SB. It's nice to have you here in CA and sharing your work with others. Cheers for that! Keep creating the beauty!

    This is one great SB!
The drawings in post #496 are just outstanding, love the expressive line and sense of form, gesture.
The traditional work in #492 is equally as expressive, those big, bold and meaningful strokes are terrific. Looking forward to enjoying the rest of your SB when I've got a little more time; not much of a crit from me really, so I'm not sure how helpful this is, but I suppose sometimes it's enough just to say good job and keep sharing

I discovered that one can keep an endless amount of inspiration going if you draw and look at other's stuff parallel. it's almost like tapping in on their knowledge, you can learn tons of new stuff from referencing like that (I found it especially useful for anatomy) plus it's fun as hell to take someones idea and put a new spin on it. it's almost like a one way dialogue.

Wonderful things can be seen in this SB! Drooling with my eyes. :]

The only thing I can think of is that you might want to increase contrast in some of your drawings to make them stand out more, this can of course be due to scanning (or taking a photo).

This sketchbook is one of my favourites, there's not enough words in the dictionary to express what i want to.

Oh yes, I think that the version just one step before the final with the latest piece was better, the bloom effect killed the great mood established earlier on.
