Call0ps, Kliment, designboot - thanks guys.
Moai - Ok, maybe next time. I use my paper SB to write down some ideas and my sketches are really rough. Nothing interesting to show
    ---
    Small update
    Few concepts:

    ...and study from ref...

..and my last COW (with thumbs)....

    JUU'HOOO

These strange animals lives on the Sho'to Island. They have their lairs on the rocky cliffs near the Mashu-ka Bay. Every year when the mating time comes they climbe to cliffs to show to females their gliding skills. Joo'hooos jump from the cliff and quickly falls down. In the last moment, when they are close to the ground open their "skin coat" and fly into the sky again. Of course cliffs' rocks are full of skeletons of the Juu'hooos which were trying to be too brave. Juu'hooos have very interesting diet, because they eats sea plants, fishes and... some of the birds that nest on the cliffs.

    .....and something different.

    Cheers

Ha ha! I love how you three converse with each other about the progress! XD

Wow, JakkaS, that is some niiiice stuff! The fifth picture down, the coloured creature...that is sooo different!! Wow!! And I found myself saying, "Cool! It has a neat bum!"

I liked the first picture, too! Though I wish there was more detail with the costumes, I love the gloss and contrast of the faces!!

    JakkaS : http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...er-Tooth_d.jpg

that one is very good, but the way you've made the back backleg, makes it look like the creature is running in a line, that it's almost flat. And when that leg follows the same shape as the leg closer to us it just makes it look more similar. I would make it turn into perspective some more maybe and add some more darks to it. Now that leg has the same contrast/value as the creature in the back.

Too be nitpicky, i would like to see more motion in the front creature, now the spine is in a straight line... i would of loved to see the front one in the backones pose hehe, a lot more action in that one.

i like the creature in the backs forhead more, the front one has too much of a cartoony brow at the moment (of course sticktly my opinion)

is it just me but does that hill/treetrunk creature remind you about this one?
http://www.bjornhurri.com/sb/07/Febr...tone_troll.jpg (might be just me hehe)

the cyclop and his "log"....might wanna rethink the placement of that log

Sketches looks awesome. They work the best when you set the major shapes more clarely and don't get confused in adding all the cool details and such...

2 cents and some pocket lint
    cheers

very cool creature designs, especially the wolf-like lizard thing. The movement is so convincing. I also really like the monster with the stump/shubbery on its back.
