Devin, trust me that was the least creepy one of all the photos we took of me with it hahaha

I made a timelapse! Just a short one to try it out, I want to make a better one later.

cool vid i suppose if you were to make a "better version" you should try to keep the parts of the creature in one place since it looks like everything is just zooming around into a big blur of motion and its hard to tell whats happening. Thats all i can really think of doing to make the video better.. unless you can hold the creature still for a few hours while sowing it..

Also the process of making one of those seems allot more complicated then i thought, i personally would have just stapled the pieces together.. :C

Krato, thanks for the advice! I tried to keep that in mind when I did my next one. I never realized how much I moved the plush till I tried not to.

Did another one... this time from the total start to finish! I'm not happy with the final result of this one but I killed two birds with one stone, getting a custom order done & trying out doing another timelapse. Next time I really need to make one of my own characters.

This is a better picture of the finished product....

    Bleh.

Not happy with it? You got the character pretty well, it feels like he's really talking.

    Hi,

I'm a big fan of studio ghibli productions and I think Calcifer looks great. Why dont you like how it turned out? would adding arms help? The timelapse videos are cool and informative, 2nd one is much easier to follow.

Hahah aww thanks so much guys!!

Mothman, I would have given him arms if I was makin it for just me, but it was someones custom request!

    Custom Monstroctopus...

    Custom Keychain...

Two coin purses & a wallet pouch! Close with velcro & they've got soft fleece inside.

& I also made a bunch of newborn monsters for the shop! They're all sold now, except one! He needs a home.

And a bunch of work in progress yetis! & a sasquatch. They're sorta decapitated right now haha but I liked the way they looked arranged on my desk.
