i would buy a book filled with your drawings
hi
Hey alex what perspective books have you studied? because i want to know how to incorperate perspective into my figures. If you can give me the names of some stuff you looked into that would be a good pushstart for me. cheers bro
it took me hours just to finish looking through your sketch book.. and it blew my mind ... literally
amazing...
Nothing like taking a bath in the spring of awesome pencil lines that is this sketchbook. And it's more than just pencil lines... it's your ideas... your poses... your humor. I can only hope that what you create gives you as much pleasure as it does to those who experience it.
Thanks man.

I am glad I stumbled upon here, I shall joiin the choir and applaud your work Alex. Love the looseness of your pencils and the way you describe form. Anatomy is top notchMe likes! It's also great to see that you are working hard to catch up with your painting skills! Can't wait to see you get as comfortable with your paints as you are with your pencils!
It was a huge pleasure to scramble through your sketchbooks and what a surprise I found to open my Hogarth books inspired by you and totally rediscovered them. Will be copying the Hogarth books now
Cheers
Keep it up!

anybody know where alex went? i was a huge fan of his but he never updates.
does he have a blog or a sketchbook? deviantart? something?
Havent seen him around for a long time.
He works for Marko Djurdjevic's outsourcing studio, sixmorevodka.
the shit storm that happened a while back might be why he aint been here in a while. He was tight with Jana and Hannes, and they took a nice long dump on this site before they left.
oh wow, i didnt know he worked for sixmorevodka
and im actually a fan of marko

Here is his deviantart page: http://alexpascenko.deviantart.com/gallery/?catpath=/
Holy crap this is awesome. And I love the rant on page 39, quite the most inspirational thing I've read in a long time.
