yeah.... sketcher has been done for a bit.

The sketcher required a payment i believe of $30 per month, i dont have that type of money to keep it running.

hello people, I had a question. Ever since I have my new computer I am somehow unable to connect to any irc client.

He keeps giving me this message:

Unable to connect : java.net.SocketException : Software caused connection abort: connect

Does anybody know what may be the cause of this problem?

I was wondering if there are moderators for the vent channel. There has been some people using the vent server as a game chat and being rude to the artists. They actually had the nerve to call us noisy and distracting for talking during their game. Its infuriating when there is a game channel and they are holding a, "we were here first" position and making people who have questions leave.

Being on ventrilo has really helped me stay motivated. When I normally would listen to music while practicing, I just pop in CA vent and chill while drawing.

I would love more people to come on there more often. There are only a handful of pros I've seen there so far.

I tried out ventrilo today, first time using the program. But there seem to be a problem with my mikrophone or mikrophone settings (or maybe I just talk very quiet). I did it this way: http://conceptart.org/forums/showpos...72&postcount=4
Apart from the output and input device, where I could only find the options "Default DirectSound Device", and "SigmaTel Audio", as far as I can tell the sigma option refers to an intern mikrophone, and not to the headset I was using, therfore I used the other option.
Is there something else I can do about it?

I found a pen pressure that works for mac http://marcello.cellosoft.com/projec...2007.08.15.zip you have to be running safari. It is quite glitchy but works.

Hello,

I'm having trouble connecting to the Ventrilo channel, I just get the message: "MSG: Contacting Server" which never goes away. The host and port details I've entered are correct, and I'm using v3.0.5. Either I need to downgrade or the server needs to be upgraded I heard?

Apparently, the Ventrilo server is down.

It will be back up in a couple weeks. Right now we are dealing with the online art school stuff so ventrillo is on hold. For now join the folks in the chat!!

The chat link at the top of the forums needs to be updated with the new vent info, the only way to find it otherwise is google search pulling this thread and wading through a dozen posts.
