Clochette - thank you darling
I did this for fun
while the colors are lokking a bit more lively in this new beginning, you haven't picked a single lightsource to render from. You're losing all of your "big shapes" from this. Think BIG then go small. Right now as it is, you're rendering each feature of the head independently, with it's own independent light source. Something that might help, is draw a dot or an arrow, or a sphere on your page to choose your lightsource, and have a visual reference.
I think doing more value studies would really help you out Value is 2/3 of color
Just dropping by - ooo Glowing onion! 0_O cool
Keep up the good work - will be cool to see when you really tighten up the finished renderings (bring into focus). Keep rocking on dude!

keep up those studies mate. Hopefully soon you can do some really long studies
it's also helpful to do studies in greyscale from color, as it really helps you to see the values better. Once values become easier to see, you can spend more time thinking about the hue.
Don't forget to think about edges when doing drawings. Hard edges and soft edges help show form soft edges where the form rolls, hard edges where two planes meet
Hi peter u are going up and ur strokes are softening .keep going mate.do drop on mine and comment
