Hehe awesome pixel art. Especially the rhino.

As for the other drawings your pencil works needs to be tempered a bit more. Also some anatomy studies would be great to you can take better grasp of anatomy. And mind the proportions.

    But nevertheless very nice sketchbook.
    Keep updating!

    Hey
    Happy New Year to you

Nice set of studies you did! Now do a hundred more pages!

I also like the golem. You're trying out new things and being brave about it. Good work! You should deepen the contrast however. Desaturate it to see what I mean. Right now it's being lit both from above and below by lightsources with the same intensity. Make one light brighter and subdue the other one. I think this'll help.

Keep going and having fun with it! You're making progress!

Hey atlantik, thanks for stopping by my SB. You got good progress too! Nice job!
I have not much to say about those sketches but study and practice as much as one can, that's how people get improved, don't they. The other is your painting, I think if there are more depth in the background, you character will be more lively, they are great, love the giant with volcano one.

    Cheers!!

    Hey
It's great to see you doing studies! Keep it up!

The head of the standing woman in the top page is a bit small . Also, try to soften the contour around your drawings. It's not as rigid as it was before, but still, try to avoid doing uniform outlines around the drawings. It flattens them out.
Also the lady next to the portrait on the bottom page came out pretty good. Well done!

Keep on having fun and drawing

Hello, thanks for taking time to check out my sketchbook. The handmade sketchbook I made with Arches fine drawing paper. I took a book binding class during art school as an elective, so I learned how to make many types of books. You could probably look up how to bind your own sketchbook online... once you learn how to do it, it's quite easy.

You're improving in your drawing skills. Keep drawing from life and pay attention to proportions. You might also want to set up a still life at home to practice value and color. You will learn it if you practice!

    Keep it up!

    Hiya!
This is an exercise an old teacher gave me and later Ive heard of it from a lot of different people. One famus MARKO shows it on his massive black DVD.
(This aply when working with pencils on paper, if you draw digitaly youll never have any trouble of this sort. Meaning, you can always fix it without erasing) And yes, I know its strange I did this example digital...

    1. Put a blank paper infront of you
    2. Draw a square
    3. Try to fit the character/object you draw into the square, It
desnt matter if itgets a bit out of the square but as long as you
    dont run out of paper.
    4. Shows how you sometimes end up when you dont think of your layout and sizing of drawing.

Try drawing a lot of squares on a paper and fit figure drawings into them. Its hard in the begining. Hope this is helpful.

Hello Nice update! I really like the marker stuff.
And the pencils are getting better. But, one thing if I may - stop outlining everything. It flattens out the form. Your looser sketches, the ones you probably hadn't gotten around to finishing look much better than the finished ones, in my opinion. They've got lineweight variation, the finished ones lack.
Other than that - good work! Keep drawing and doing studies! And have fun with it

    Hey
Great studies! Those thirty seconds poses a really awesome! That's the line quality you should aim for. You just need a bit more practice in order to become more accurate when drawing. But you're definitely on the right track!

That colored eye looks good but when coloring try not to shade with black. use a wery dark red and for the white in the eye dont use a clear white hue. color it with a bit of the skincolor but still white enough to fool the eye. theres a lot of coloring guidelines its hard to keep track of em all. cheers bro!

Oh one more thing. When I look closer on the small guy in rabit-suit. it looks like you used the fil funktion in the lineart. There is some white left at some edges. You can try and put the lineart in its own layer set to multiply (The lineart layer need to be the top layer) You can paint in a nother layer beneath it.
A nother way to do it in Photoshop is to make a copy of the blue channel and inverting it by pressing Ctrl+I Then you erase everything on screen and open a new layer. then scroll the selection bar till you find Load selection and there you can find the lineart its called "blue copy" probably. THen just use the fill bucket and black and there you go lineart without white background. you can now paint in the layer beneath the lineart. Hope thius is helpful.
    Cheers!
