Hi, and welcome to Ca. Interesting things you have here, I'm really enjoying the bleeding mouth, the first sketch, and the portrait with the bald guy. Also like the last image, looks firmillar to something. Great stuff keep posting.![]()

Whoa! Lotta updates, man, nice. I really like the spider-kid, when I saw the new thumbnail next to the thread I was already thinking retro. I like your first PS piece, the skin texture is cool. Do you use references for those ink portraits?
Great work, keep it coming!

Great work manI love those aluminum cans in your first post.
Some suggestions:
When you're drawing hands, it's best to sketch out a gesture with basic shapes before you go in and refine the form & details, otherwise they'll end up looking out of proportion and stiff. Also, be careful when you're hatching. The direction/weight of your hatching makes a big impact on the depth of your image
That's all dewd. Keep up the good work!

As the pattern gets more intricate and subtle being swept along is no longer enough.

Hey stone, nice updates since I last visited. Really like the pen/tree thing very cool little concept. The last painting turned out very nice, it almost looks like watercolors especially in the cloud regions. Also great your doing the studies as well, keep pushing with those.![]()

Hey stone, really good drawings... keep it up...
I like the second to last one (I saw the ref you used afterwards, the added hair makes it look kinda seal-like, or like a character from the Grinch movie). Cool stuff. ^_^

Great work with the 3d model. Maybe post the ref if you can... As for freehanding without refs, practice is pretty much the best you can do. Life studies would probably help too, get you used to not having a static ref to work off of.
Maybe try redoing those last reference sketches without the reference in front of you; get them in your head, stick them as well as you can, and just try and recreate them from your mind. Add to them, even. It might help with your freehand stuff.

Hey,
greets
Great progress with the heads! The first looks especially good, though his neck seems a bit thick to me. I love the twisted hand. I'd say your last pic the ear is where you went wrong...from that angle it should have a more laid back look, unless it's sticking out, in which case the other one would be visible as well. It just gives it an awkward look. Great work so far, keep it up!
